Its been a while since I posted to the ‘ol blog. What can I say, its been a busy summer! We’ve been blessed with a full season of

Sara forget her ticket to the gun show but Sean had ammo to spare
work, photo-related and otherwise. Weddings, most weekends and this great new course I’m teaching at BCIT, Web Marketing, in the New Media and Design program. But, I digress, this post is about our friends Sara and Sean’s maternity photos!

Our Seattle friends sharing one of many first kisses on the wedding day in Seattle.
Robyn and I have been friends with Sara since our days teaching English in Japan. We met in Hiroshima and are so glad we could carry our friendship back across the Pacific, especially now that Sean is on the scene, and about to become a daddy!
We shot our Seattle-friend’s wedding, as they’ve come to be know, last summer in the Emerald City. Those pics are pre-blog but here are a couple of my favs!

So, its been a year since the “I do’s” and we’re happy to be a part of S+S’s next milestone! On our last trip to Seattle we snapped these shots of Sara’s baby bump on a trip out to Whidbey Island.
Fast-forward a few months to this latest batch of maternity photos and well, the bump has grown!
This was the last weekend Sara’s doctor said she should travel so with the doc’s blessing, S+S loaded up the wagon and made a run for the boarder, and our Burnaby photo studio!
We had been trying to sync up for weeks but with business on both ends, it was great we were finally able to hook up to get these shots. Along with seeing our friends, we were also pumped on the opportunity to try out our new Drop It Modern backdrop! The pattern featured in these shots is the Surfrider (I was sold on the name).
Hit the jump for the photos!
